Every line has a 38 foot head - 1 foot longer than the Mastery Tarpon line and 6 feet shorter than the Mastery Bonefish line. The shorter head length allows quicker loading and casting with the same or better distance then a longer head due to increased shootability of Sharkskin technology. The belly and front taper are specially tuned for each line weight to match the most common saltwater species targeted and fishing techniques used. This line is more durable than “regular” saltwater lines. In addition, the first 25 feet of the running lines is .005" larger than the remaining 47 feet and the larger diameter running line will float better and reduces tangling when you're casting from a boat. The reduced line friction from Sharkskin technology makes increasing the diameter possible without losing ANY distance. For long casts, the line will shoot even farther when the smaller diameter running line hits the guides.
