The MacKenzie SuperLite is an evolution of the original MacKenzie design. The award winning MacKenzie, introduced in 1995, changed the standard in fly reel design. The new SuperLite enhances the features that made the original MacKenzie reel an instant success: light weight, large arbor, simple and a great value.
The series covers 1-12 line wts. with 8 sizes. The M.5 SuperLite weighing only 3.5 oz handles the 1, 2 & 3 wt lines for ultra light pursuits. The M1 & M2 SuperLite cover the lines 4 , 5 & 6 wt. for trout, bass and pan fish. The M3, M4 & M5 SuperLite handle 7, 8 & 9 wt lines for steelhead, bonefish, salmon, stripers and other saltwater species. The M6 & M7 SuperLite take 10, 11 & 12 wt lines for larger species and the most popular spey lines.
