The sinking tip and full intermediate lines feature the same taper as the Clouser line.The intermediate tip has no loops or joints and is very useful, because unlike a full intermediate fly line, the angler can roll cast once to break the line loose, back cast, and get a second shot at the tarpon. F/I line is the line of choice to get under the floating grass to prevent weeds from fouling the fly. The F/I line is also the best tarpon line in extreme wind.
